If I Died Today …
If I died today, I couldn't complain.
It's been a fun-filled ride!
I've lived three lifetimes, maybe more,
Before I fin'ly died!
The times I've cried are few and far --
Can count 'em on one hand --
There's Binky, Mom, Lavonne, the bus,
My wrists, my stomach, and --
I guess that's two hands counting now.
Oh well, on with the list --
Oh yeah, the circus. After that?
The plane -- what have I missed?
Some funerals -- dry tears, but still,
The thoughts and feelings there.
And poor Mariko, there in court --
That surely wasn't fair!
